Newspaper publshes map of gun owners with names and addresses
Enraged gun owners are blasting a newspaper and cancelling subscriptions after it published the names and addresses of all residents in its coverage area with handgun or pistol permits. The Joual News in Westchester County, N.Y., posted an interactive gun map, which allows users to click on dots to see which of their neighbors have pistols.
Some readers were indignant (one even started a counter-blog with joualists' names and addresses) while others praised the publication, offering the latest evidence of the deep divide over gun control since the Newtown, Connecticut massacre. [Source]
