South Dakota teen Dalton Williams fatally shoots friend after paintball game
Less than a week after the massacre in Connecticut, another gun tragedy is making the news, under different circumstances and far away from Newtown. Dalton Williams, a 16-year-old from Pierre, S.D., was killed after a paintball game Tuesday. Williams and another teen argued and "playfully wrestled" after the game, according to another friend who was there that day. The fight didn’t stop there, however, and the 16-year-old shooter reportedly left the room and came back with a semi-automatic shotgun.

The shooter pointed the gun at the third teen, but Williams stepped between the two before the gun fired. He later died at a local hospital, and the shooter has been charged with first-degree murder. [Source]
