Elon Musk asked Jeffrey Epstein when he could visit for island’s ‘wildest party’
WASHINGTON — Newly released U.S. Department of Justice documents include email exchanges showing tech entrepreneur Elon Musk expressed interest in visiting financier Jeffrey Epstein’s private Caribbean island, once the site of numerous allegations of abuse, according to the records.
The correspondence, part of a massive tranche of more than 3 million pages released this month under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, shows Musk and Epstein discussing possible travel plans to Little St. James, in the British Virgin Islands. In a 2012 email, Musk asked Epstein, “What day/night will be the wildest party on our island?” when inquiring about a visit for himself and his then-partner.

It is not clear whether Musk ever made the trip. In a post on his platform X, Musk has said he had “very little correspondence” with Epstein and characterized his contact with the convicted sex offender as limited, adding that he did not attend Epstein’s gatherings.
The files also include other communications between Musk and Epstein from 2012 and 2013 about logistics, including helicopter arrangements and timing for potential visits.
The broader document release has drawn attention for its detailed records of Epstein’s connections with wealthy and influential individuals, although inclusion in the files does not imply wrongdoing.
