Forsyth County Woman Jamie Garfield Accused of Stealing from PTO
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Police in Forsyth County are looking for a woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a parent teacher organization.
A warrant is out for the arrest of Jamie Garfield. She was the PTO treasurer at Cumming Elementary School.
Police say Garfield stole around $8,000 from the school in a period of about two years. They say she had such an elaborate system set up, it's taken an entire year of investigation to nail down charges against her.
The Forsyth County Fugitive Task Force is now searching for Garfield.
