Female taxi driver Luz Mariana Matheu shot, killed in DeKalb County
CHAMBLEE, Ga. - DeKalb County Police arrested a man who they say shot and killed a female taxi driver Saturday night
Police identified the victim as 46-year-old Luz Mariana Matheu.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male. Police say he was found in a wooded area near the intersection of Woodacres Road and Warwick Circle Saturday night.

Around 9 p.m., police say Matheu picked up a man at the Buford Lodge. A short time later, police say a different taxi driver at a local gas station noticed Matheu in distress and a passenger with a gun.
The second driver followed the vehicle, and saw the passenger shoot Matheu before fleeing the scene.
It's unclear what charges the suspect will face.
The investigation is ongoing.
