Metro Atlanta woman Carolyn Hooke accused of stealing nearly $100k from doctor’s office
COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A Cartersville woman is facing charges after investigators say she stole nearly $100,000 from the Cobb County medical office where she was employed.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by Georgia Newsday, Carolyn Hooke worked at Franks Chiropractic Center on South Cobb Drive.
Authorities allege that between October 2024 and October 2025, Hooke took at least 26 checks made out to the practice and deposited them into her personal bank account.
The warrant states the checks totaled approximately $98,000.
Hooke was arrested earlier this month and charged with theft by taking. She was later released from the Cobb County Detention Center after posting a $55,220 bond.
