Braves relief pitcher Cristhian Martinez was arrested early Monday moing.

Martinez was charged with driving under the influence in Gwinnett County, according to county jail records. Police said he was driving just 45 mph when he was stopped. He was also charged with improper lane change and impeding the flow of traffic.

Police said his blood alcohol level was .13, .05 above the legal limit to drive in Georgia.

Martinez is in his third season in the Braves organization after appearing in 64 games over the past two seasons. He was among a group of Braves pitchers who retued from spring training in Orlando, Fla., ahead of the rest of the team to prepare for a Tuesday night exhibition in Lawrenceville.
