Biker Crushed By MARTA Bus in Buckhead

ATLANTA -- A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday when he was pinned under a MARTA bus, GA Daily News confirmed.

The accident happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Roswell Road in Buckhead.

News Chopper 2 flew over the scene, where numerous first responders could be seen trying to remove the victim from under the bus as witnesses looked on.

”As we were picking up people, we heard a loud noise, said one person who was aboard the bus.

The victim was loaded onto a stretcher and into an ambulance at about 3:45 p.m. He was then taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.

All northbound lanes near the accident scene were closed for a short time as authorities investigated the crash.

The victim's condition was not immediately known.

None of the roughly 15 passengers aboard the bus complained of injuries.
