4-Year-Old Toddler Shot In Road Rage Incident
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- A 4-year-old child strapped in a car seat was struck by a bullet during a road rage incident on Tuesday, DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parrish confirmed.
It happened at about 4:20 p.m. near Redan and Martin roads.
Police said the driver of the car that the child was in cut off a white Dodge Durango, then the driver of the Durango started tailgating the victim.
When the driver of the car that the child was in pulled over to let the Durango pass, police said the driver of the Durango fired one shot into the vehicle, striking the child in the buttocks.
The child was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston with non-life-threatening injuries.
