HALL COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

Police say a 17-year-old has been arrested after he allegedly threatened a school shooting.

The incident occurred at Johnson High School in Hall County, which is northeast of Atlanta.

A spokesperson with the Hall County Sheriff's Office say Tristen Patrick wrote a letter in a joual assignment "describing his intent to do bodily harm to students and teachers at Johnson High School, by means of a school shooting."

Police say after searching his vehicle on school property, they found two knives with a blade length of two inches or longer.
