Worst Blind Date Ever: Augusta Man Corey Ramsey Steals $510 From His Date

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A date set up on the Inteet ended with the theft of $510 in cash.

The victim told a Richmond County Sheriff's deputy she had been talking with Corey Ramsey for months online and arranged a meeting Friday in downtown Augusta.

A police report says the couple went several places in the woman's car, including a trip to the victim's credit union to cash a check for $510.

When the two ended up at the Augusta River Walk, police say Ramsey bolted out of the car and left behind the empty bank envelope.
