Woman shot in SW Atlanta
ATLANTA -
Authorities are searching for a person who shot a woman in the leg during an attempted carjacking in southwest Atlanta early Tuesday.
Police say the woman was waiting to get into a gated apartment community on Greensferry Avenue when two armed men approached her and demanded she give up her car.
Police say the woman panicked and accelerated forward. That's when one of the men opened fire.
Authorities say both of the gunmen then ran off.
