Warner Robins, Ga. City Attorney Jim Elliott Reappointed

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - The Waer Robins City Council has reappointed Jim Elliott as city attoey, two days after voting to replace him after 26 years on the job.

Residents had protested after the council voted on Monday not to reappoint Elliott.

Four council members voted against Elliott on Monday, but the vote to reappoint him was unanimous.

The vote to reappoint Elliott came after a closed session to discuss the personnel issue. Council members say the decision to reappoint Elliott did not stem from public opinion.
