Two Teens Fatally Shot in College Park, Police Search For Gunmen

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. -- Two teens are dead, and police are searching a College Park community for the gunmen responsible.

Police said Devonte Stembridge, 19, and a 16-year-old boy who was with him were fatally shot late Saturday night.

Investigators said they were all inside Stembridge’s car at the Yorktown Condominiums on Yorktown Drive just after 11 p.m.

The victims were up front, the shooters were in the back seat of the car, police said.

Police don’t know what triggered the shooting. They’re looking into robbery, maybe drugs, but they do believe the men all knew each other.

The commander on the case told GA Daily News both teens were shot in the head from behind.

Officers said they are following up on several leads Sunday moing.
