Two Atlanta City Workers David Triplett and Jarryl Smith Accused of Stealing Copper

Two Atlanta city employees have been arrested and accused of stealing thousands of dollars of copper from the Atlanta Water Department.

David Triplett and Jarryl Smith filled their car with copper from the Bolton Road plant and were stopped after officers noticed their car was riding low to the ground.

Officers found copper piping covering the back half of the vehicle with a value of $2,000.
