Three shot, killed at DeKalb Co. apartment complex

Police say a gunman opened fire at a DeKalb County apartment complex early Wednesday moing, leaving three people dead.  Officers were called to the complex on Peppertree Circle, where they found the three victims in the Crystal Pointe Apartments parking lot.

Authorities have not identified any of the victims, but they do say two men and one woman were killed.  They have not released a description of the suspect in the case, and say they're investigating statements made by witnesses.

Police do not know if the victims lived at the complex.  They say based on the multiple shell casings found in the area, they believe multiple shots were fired.  One car was left running in the parking lot, but they're not sure if the victims were getting in or out of that car.
