Thieves Hit Atlanta Liquor Store
ATLANTA - Atlanta police are investigating a smash and grab at a southwest Atlanta liquor store early Monday moing.
Police say the thieves drove a vehicle into the Broadway Package Store on Cambellton Road Southwest around 4 a.m.
Police responded when the burglar alarm went off.
The owner of the store says whoever committed the burglary smashed into a window of the store near where the register was located. The owner says the top shelf liquor was taken, which is usually the most expensive.
In addition to damaging the store, the owner says the thieves took about $4,000 worth of liquor from the store.
