An easte Georgia high school student collapsed during a beauty pageant and was pronounced dead.

Richmond County coroner Grover Tuten tells the Augusta Chronicle (http://bit.ly/12kmG1u ) 17-year-old Fredricia Rouse, a junior at Hephzibah High School, was in the chapel at Paine College Wednesday when she collapsed.

Tuten says Rouse showed no signs of injury and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
