EATONTON, GA - Putnam County officials have arrested a man they say is responsible for the death of a woman in Eatonton.

Frank Don Causey, 26, was arrested and charged with murder in connection to the death of 63-year-old Lydia Ivanditti. Authorities say the victim died from combined effects of strangulation and drowning.

Police say Causey was an acquaintance of Ivanditti and has been living in Eatonton on and off for several years.
