Shooting and wreck may have been caused by road rage, say officials
Police: One dead, several others injured in DeKalb County shooting

Police in DeKalb County have begun an investigation into whether a Friday moing shooting and car wreck could have been the result of road rage.

Officers say that two men were shot inside a Monte Carlo on South Indian Creek Drive at about 4:15 a.m. on Friday. Just after the shooting occurred, the Monte Carlo crossed the center line and struck an oncoming car head on. Police said that both parties received minor injuries.

Investigators believe that a pick-up truck that also crashed in the same area was related to the shooting and wreck incident. Police believe that the shooter was inside the truck. Officers were not immediately able to find the truck’s driver.
