Sheriff's officials: Dekalb man Derrick Walker arrested in girlfriend's strangulation death

DeKalb County sheriff's officials said they arrested a man in connection with the death of his girlfriend. 

Derrick Ramon Walker is charged with felony murder. He was arrested on Sept. 11 after several days on the run, sheriff's officials said. 

Sheriff's officials said the warrant for Walker alleges he strangled Latousha Tashan Holden in Decatur on Sept. 8.

They said Holden was Walker's girlfriend.
