A retired officer faces two life sentences plus 40 years in prison following his conviction for child molestation.

Kelless Twohearts Lory, 58, of Stone Mountain, is waiting on a court date to be sentenced. Thursday, a jury found Lory guilty of two counts each of aggravated child molestation and child molestation.

Prosecutors said the victim was only 9 years old when the year-long abuse began in July of 2011. Lory was arrested in December 2014.

Lory was retired at the time of the incident. He worked for the Chamblee Police Department and previously for MARTA Police.
