Police seek suspect Jacobe Gilbert in shooting of 8-year-old girl
Atlanta police say they are getting closer to finding the gunman who shot an 8-year-old girl.
It all happened while she was lying in her bedroom in an apartment complex on Gun Club Road.
Investigators say Jacobe Gilbert was arguing with a woman when he started shooting.
A bullet traveled through an interior wall and then hit the mattress and the child. The girl was shot in the leg and was taken to the hospital.
