Police Seek Gunman in DeKalb Businessman Barket Roy's Death

DECATUR, ga. - The search continues Wednesday afteoon for the gunman in a violent robbery and shooting death of a DeKalb County businessman.

Barket Roy was killed Monday moing as he was leaving his apartment complex.

Police say Roy -- who was carrying cash -- may have been cased or followed for several days.

Roy was shot several times, say police.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, between 5'8" and 5'10" in height and weighs approximately 250 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a yellow baseball cap, a white t-shirt and green shorts.

Roy owned two gas stations in DeKalb County.

If anyone has any information on the case they are urged to DeKalb police.
