Police Search for Missing Young Mother Janelle Aaron
Janelle Aaron has been missing for more than a month. Police say her disappearance is suspicious and she could be in danger.

Clayton County police are asking for help in finding the mother of a young baby. They say 20-year-old Janelle Aaron has been missing for more than a month. Police say her disappearance is suspicious and she could be in danger.

Police say there has been no activity on Aaron’s phone or through her bank account, and she has not sent text messages or emails. No one has heard from her since she left her 5-month-old daughter, Janirah, with her boyfriend and went to look for a job. That was on July 15.

Aaron’s aunt, Janice Aaron Whitley, has raised her like a daughter since she was a child.

”Her mom left them, Whitley said. ”That was the first thing out of her mouth when she had Janirah. ‘I will never leave Janirah,’ that’s what she told me.

That’s why Whitley believes something has happened to her niece. Clayton County police are calling this a suspicious disappearance, and they say it’s been too long with no word for this to be a new mother needing a break.

Now, police and family members are looking for help trying to find the young mother.

Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Janelle Aaron to call CrimeStoppers at (678) 614-9099.
