Police say Lilburn man Rupert Clarke shot, killed his wife over money
A husband is charged with killing his wife in Gwinnett County.
Police say he shot her over money Saturday.
Rupert Clarke, 59, and his wife, Rose Marie Lebert, 56, were arguing over finances at their home when Clarke shot her with a handgun, according to Lilbu police chief Bruce Hedley.
Police say the couple's adult son heard the shots and called 911.
Police charged Clarke with murder and aggravated assault.
