Police: Nicholas Crisostomo, Ian McKinney, Paul Truesdell killed, 8 injured in crash involving rock band
Authorities have released the names of those involved in a deadly crash in Jackson County Monday moing. Troopers say three people were killed and eight others were injured after a 15-passenger van carrying 12 people crashed.
Georgia State Patrol says the single-vehicle-crash took place on Interstate 85 southbound at Hwy 98 (exit 147). The van, carrying nine men and three women, veered off the highway about 300-feet and slammed into a tree after the male driver, 27-year-old Sergio J. Quesada, of Athens, GA, lost control.
Three men were ejected from the vehicle and died as a result of their injuries. Troopers say Nicholas R. Crisostomo, 25, of Round Hill, VA, Ian A. McKinney, 30, of Madison, TN, and Paul. J. Truesdell, 29, of Mableton, GA were pronounced dead at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Eight others were taken to nearby hospitals to be treated for injuries. Two of the victims' injuries are considered life-threatening. Troopers released the names of those injured as follows:

Georgia Newsday has leaed that two rock bands, Khaotica and Wormreich, were in the vehicle traveling from South Carolina to metro Atlanta for a gig at The Basement in East Atlanta Monday night.
Khaotica is a metal band from Atlanta and Wormreich is a heavy metal band based out of the Huntsville, Alabama area.
The Basement says they plan to hold a benefit concert on April 13th.
