A Cobb County mom is accused of stealing a teacher's purse during a Kindergarten Christmas party.

Police said Kayla Chenee Delay swiped the bag from Vaer Elementary School.

According to the arrest warrant, surveillance video showed her leaving the campus with the stolen purse.

Officers later arrested Delay at her Powder Springs home. Investigators said she hid the purse behind a dresser in her bedroom.

She's charged with theft by taking.
