Police: Drunken mother Ashley Shields with toddler in back seat caused 2-car wreck
Roswell police have arrested a mother accused of drunken driving. Police said her toddler was in the back seat when she crashed into two cars head-on.
Channel 2's Mike Petchenik talked to one woman who survived the wreck and said she is amazed she walked away from it.
A child's car seat could still be seen Tuesday in the back of the Toyota 4Runner police said was being driven by Ashley Shields, 34, of Roswell.

Investigators said Shields was driving down Old Alabama Road Monday when she crossed the center line, hitting two other cars.
Luz Buice said she was driving in her Nissan when she saw Shields come barreling toward her, causing her to wreck.
She told Petchenik she walked away with only minor injuries.
"The life is big. But in one minute, in one second, gone," Buice told Petchenik.
According to a police report, Shields admitted to drinking four small bottles of vodka Monday moing andtaking some pills. She told police she didn't remember anything about the incident.
"She became very belligerent at the hospital, started fighting police," one Roswell police officer said.
Shields and her 18-month-old son were taken to the hospital and were released. A third man told Petchenik by phone that firefighters had to use the jaws of life to remove the child from the 4Runner.
