Police: Cherokee Co. teacher Matthew Tamanini had relationship with student
A Creekview High School teacher was arrested after being accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student.
Police arrested 31-year-old Matthew Tamanini of Canton on Wednesday.
School officials say the principal was made aware of the allegations on Tuesday and an investigation was launched.
Authorities say they believe the relationship has been ongoing for about four months. He taught drama and English at the school for six years.
