UPDATE— Police say the child kidnapped by her mother at an Atlanta mall has been found Tuesday night. They also said mother will be transported to Fulton County Jail, and child will be handed over to DFCS.

Atlanta police say 14-month-old kidnapped while on DFCS visit with mother at Lenox Square.

Authorities say Ryan Alwadi was in the custody of Division of Family and Children Services and on a supervised visit at Lenox Square Mall Monday when he was taken by his mother Sahar Alwadi.

Police say Ryan was wearing a gray, white and blue Calvin Klein sweatshirt, black pants and white and blue shoes. His mother was wearing a black jacket, red shirt with cold lettering, gray sweatpants and orange shoes.

Police are not sure which direction they left the area. Sahar may have used MARTA
