- Police are searching for a woman accused of robbing a bank on Highway 441 on Monday moing.

According to The Banks County Sheriff's office, at about 10:30am, the suspect wearing a black bandana and armed with a shotgun entered the Northeast Georgia Bank near Industrial Park Drive and robbed the bank.

She fled the bank on foot toward a Days Inn. Authorities have a vehicle of interest, which they've identified as a 2006 or 2007 model blue-grey Dodge Caravan with a New York license plate on the front bumper.

The suspect is described as a white female in her mid 30s, about 5’4 tall with blonde hair. She was wearing a black Bandana, white t-shirt and brown shorts.

Police ask anyone with information to call 911 immediately
