South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley locked out of mansion in bathrobe

POLITICIANS are human, although some appear not to act like it.

South Carolina Goveor Nikki Haley told her followers on Facebook that she was stuck outside her mansion wearing nothing but her bathrobe.

"What not to do ... getting locked out of the Goveor's mansion in your robe while sending the kids off to school," she said.

Haley, a member of the Republican Party, clearly wants it known she is human.

Haley's embarrassment was ended when her daughter Rena retued home and let her in, WLTX reported.

The post instantly became one of Haley's most popular, with it liked by more than 4700 people,

including constituents who congratulated her for being so open, New York Daily News reported.

"Love that you show us consistently that you are human! Thanks for the chuckle," one user wrote.

"Happens to the best of us," another wrote.

Norman Smith wrote: "It must be something in the air. Yesterday same thing happened to me, but guess what, no robe! Oh well, at least the neighbors (sic) were no where around."

Charmaine Fausel said: "All you can do is laugh ... at yourself. Most of us have locked ourselves out of our home or car."

Haley's Facebook page contains photos of her public appearance and anecdotes about being a mother and her fairly normal private life.
