If ever you wondered if the cosmos has a sense of humor, the following story is definitive proof. On Dec. 4, a postal carrier by the name of Marla Reeves was delivering mail to a rural address outside of Grapeland, Texas.
As she was stopped at the mailbox, a lemur leapt into her vehicle, bit her hand and arm and jumped out. The lemur’s name? Keanu. If you’re scoring at home, a lemur named Keanu bit a woman named Reeves. Keanu was taken away by authorities for a 30-day quarantine to watch for signs of rabies. The party is so not on, dudes.
