DALTON, Ga. -- A UPS store owner accused in a series of thefts, including items meant for toado victims, is in trouble again.

Edward Copenhaver, 45, was arrested in Johns Creek on Friday. Police said he stole a Mac computer and Nintendo Wii from a package stamped for Califoia.

Copenhaver is the co-owner of a UPS store in Dalton. After a customer complained that the Califoia package never reached its destination, Dalton investigators searched Copenhaver’s home and recovered the items July 13, police said. While they were there, officers said, they also found more than 30 bottles of imported wine reported missing from the UPS store in a separate case.

Copenhaver was the subject of an ongoing investigation into multiple reports of missing or stolen property sent to and from the Dalton store. Alpharetta police previously arrested him in May on charges related to the theft of Target gift cards, which were supposed to be shipped from a UPS Store there to toado victims in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

On Friday, Copenhaver was charged with felony theft and taken to the Whitfield County Jail.
