Nearby Shots Puts DeKalb School on Lockdown

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - McNair High School is on lockdown as police investigate reports of shots fired in the area.

The police activity is about a mile away from the high school in the 2000 block of Boulderview drive in southeast Atlanta.

DeKalb Police say county sheriff's deputies were in the Gresham Park neighborhood serving a warrant when they heard shots fired.

They called for back-up and officers discovered that two people were firing shots at each other.
DeKalb police say one person was wounded. The condition of that person is not known.

No shots were fired from any law enforcement, say DeKalb police.

Police did not say what started the shooting.
