A Cobb County man allegedly told Smya police he was a MARTA cop during a weekend traffic stop.

Raoul Antonio Bussey, 32, does work for MARTA, but he's not a police officer.

Bussey was arrested early Sunday and booked into the Cobb County jail, according to booking records. Bussey, of a Powder Springs address, faces charges for impersonating an official and for having a handgun during the crime.

In addition to the gun, Bussey also allegedly had a radio and a police badge, a Smya police spokesman told GA Daily News.

Bussey was released several hours later after posting $25,000 bond.
