Man Shot, Killed During Virginia-Highland Robbery
ATLANTA - A man was shot and killed during a robbery in Atlanta's Virginia-Highland neighborhood Monday night.
Police said a masked man attempted to rob a man and a woman on Virginia Avenue Monday night. According to police, the male victim and the robber got into an altercation and the robbery victim was shot in the chest. The victim died at the scene.
Police said the robber ran off with the female's purse and cell phone.
The names of the victims have not been released
