Man reports theft of football signed by John Elway
AUGUSTA, Ga. — An Augusta man told police that thieves broke into his home and stole a football autographed by former NFL quarterback John Elway.
Richmond County sheriff's officials say Brett Langham reported coming home to find his Clark Drive home trashed and the football missing. Langham also reported that his own athletic trophies were broken and the pieces scattered about the home.
The Augusta Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/10GoyhZ) that the break-in was reported around 3 p.m. Sunday.
