Madness! Video released of Georgia man having friends set his FACE ON FIRE ... on a bet!
Surveillance video reveals that Bonner’s head was engulfed in fire for about 10 seconds.

A Georgia man who allowed several friends to set his head on fire at an Augusta bar is recovering from second-degree bus after his release from a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

William Bonner, 36, was in the darts section of the Allie Katz bar Friday night when he and several drinking companions settled on the mad, blazing bet.

”I don't know that I have ever seen this ever happen before, not on a bet, Lt. Blaise Dresser of the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office told the Daily News.

The friends made several attempts to find a liquid they could light on fire. When they finally did, Bonner bent over and let one friend pour the rum onto his face while another lit it on fire, Dresser said. Several reports say the men used Bacardi 151 rum.

Surveillance video from the incident shows that Bonner’s entire head was engulfed in flames for around 10 seconds.

He eventually ran to a table where companions helped douse the flame with other liquids.

”His face was red - glistening almost - it had the consistency of melted plastic, it really did not look good at all, Allie Katz bar owner Bryan Birmingham told local news station WFXG.

"It was the longest ten seconds you could think of, Adam Harden, a witness standing several feet away from Bonner, told the station.

According to Dresser, no one will be faced with charges for now, as Bonner was a willing participant in the conflagration.
