Local TV traffic reporter Elle Duncan arrested on DUI charge
A local moing news traffic reporter was arrested on charges of driving under the influence on Sunday.
A state trooper arrested WXIA TV's Lauren Duncan, who goes by Elle Duncan on-air. She's charged with DUI and reckless driving.
In a statement on the NBC station's website, she wrote, in part:
"I am greatly embarrassed for my actions early Sunday moing. I have been reminded -- in a very difficult way - that any amount of alcohol can impair us. I take full responsibility for my actions."
