Lithonia Police Chief Willie Rosser Resigns
Lithonia Police Chief Willie Rosser resigned effective Friday.
Rosser, who has served the city as chief since 2004, submitted his letter of resignation to Mayor Tonya Peterson. He did not give a reason, according to a release from the city.
Rosser, 53, was appointed Chief of Police in 2004 by former Mayor Darold Honore. Prior to that, he was an Investigator and Code Enforcement Officer for the city.
