Georgia State Patrol arrested a 28 year-old Lithia Springs man after they discovered almost $1 million worth of marijuana during a routine traffic stop in Fulton County.

The driver of the cargo van Anival Jimenez was stopped by a state trooper near the coer of South Fulton Parkway and Cedar Grove Road around 3:15 p.m. Saturday. A K9 unit was brought in after the trooper smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the van.

They eventually arrested the driver of the van, Anival Jimenez, 28 of Lithia Springs, on trafficking charges. He is being held in the Fulton County Jail without bond.
