Honeycut: Teen pulled from class, arrested on murder charges

Dekalb County deputies say a 15-year-old middle school student was pulled out of class Thursday and arrested on murder charges.

Investigators said the shooting happened on Jan. 12 and the victim died Feb. 4.

DeKalb police told reporters they served the warrant at Lithonia Middle School. We’re not reporting the student’s name because he’s a juvenile.

Police also arrested his 21-year-old brother, Dewayne Honeycut, on murder charges.
