Gwinnett deputy Lisa Ziglar arrested, fired for sex with inmate
Deputy Lisa Ziglar was arrested for having consensual sex with an inmate, according to an investigation.

A Gwinnett County deputy was arrested Wednesday after an investigation found that she had sex with an inmate, authorities said.

Deputy Lisa Ziglar's arrest comes after jail investigators received reports of her alleged misconduct last February.

The investigation showed that Ziglar had participated in a consensual, but illegal, sexual relationship with an inmate that included intimate touching.

Ziglar, who was on administrative leave pending the investigation, has since been fired, officials said.

The investigative findings were sent to the Gwinnett County District Attoey’s Office for prosecution.
