Cobb County Prosecutors say a man has been sentenced to five years in prison in a fatal DUI.

District Attoey's spokeswoman Kim Isaza says 49-year-old Kenneth Lee Chitwood of Acworth ran his truck into another pickup truck in February 2014. Prosecutors say 50-year-old James Payton Underwood, a father of four, was standing outside the truck at the time of the crash and was knocked to the ground. He was later pronounced dead.

Chitwood pleaded guilty Tuesday to driving under the influence and homicide by vehicle. Chitwood is ordered to spend 10 years on probation after his sentence.
