Georgia man John Steven Kristofak indicted in wife's death
An Acworth man has been indicted on murder charges and other offenses in the death of his ex-wife.
Cobb County District Attoey's spokeswoman Kim Isaza Friday said that 58-year-old John Steven Kristofak is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, burglary, aggravated stalking and weapons offenses.
Kristofak is accused of killing his ex-wife, Donna on Dec. 22, 2012 and was arrested at a Union City motel five days later.
The man is being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in Marietta. Isaza says Kristofak will appear in court March 20 for a probation-revocation hearing on two prior stalking charges.
Isaza says Kristofak could face life in prison without parole plus 40 years. A call to Kristofak's attoey Friday was not answered.
