Georgia Investigation Gets Florence Man Bryan Gist  822 Counts Of Child Porn

FLORENCE, Ala. - Lauderdale County officials said a Florence man is being held on $50,000 bail on 822 counts of possession of child poography and distribution of child poography.

Lauderdale County District Attoey Chris Connolly said 26-year-old Bryan Patrick Gist is charged with 411 counts of possession of obscene matter of a person under the age of 17 and 411 counts of distribution of obscene matter of a person under the age of 17.

Florence police arrested Gist in August, charging him with 73 counts of possession of child poography. At the time of the arrest, several DVDs, VHS tapes and a computer were confiscated.

Tuscumbia police Sgt. Stuart Setliff said Georgia officials started the investigation after they intercepted child po photos.
