GameStop Customer Shot During Robbery

Police in Conyers said a GameStop customer was shot during a robbery attempt at the store Thursday afteoon.

News Chopper 2 flew over the scene just after 12:30 p.m. at Highway 138 and Dogwood Drive. Police told reporter Tom Regan at the scene that a store employee was tied up, and the store was being robbed, when a customer walked in and was shot twice. Police said the customer was shot in the shoulder and arm. The wounded customer was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital. There is no word on the customer's condition. Authorities said they had two robbers in custody. A third person was on the loose, police said. Police said they were searching for the third robber in storm drains around the area -- including under the store.
