A Georgia Tech student is recovering after a bizarre accident.

Clark Jacobs suffered a severe brain injury when he fell off a loft bed at his frat house. His family is confident he will recover from this, but it's a long road ahead.

The accident happened in January and family members say he, he didn't even remember falling and going back to bed. When he woke up the next moing, he wasn't feeling well and that's when things took a tu for the worse

The 20 year old was sleeping in a loft bed without the rail at the Kappa Sigma house when he fell out of the seven foot high bed.

Two days later his family took him to the hospital where doctors discovered he had fractured his skull and a few days later he had to have emergency brain surgery. He is now at the Shepherd Center unable to talk or walk

Friends and family tell News Radio 106.7's Nathalie Pozo that the 3.9 GPA mechanical engineering student is bright, funny and humble.

His frateity brothers say his presence around the house is sorely missed. After the accident, the frateity took immediate action to install rails in all the loft beds.

Clark's family says they are overwhelmed by the support and donations they have received from the community from monetary donations, to meals and prayers. They say it's that love that keeps them hopeful that he will recover to his old self.
